Pricing Policy

1. Purpose of this Policy

This Pricing Policy explains the fees applicable to registering and participating in TN-BOTIFY, including the optional Standard kits made available through the Platform. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

2. Current TN-BOTIFY Pricing

Prices listed above are per participant or per kit, as indicated, and are shown in Indian Rupees (₹). All fees shown are inclusive of applicable taxes.

3. Registration Fee Details

The registration fee of ₹100 is charged per participant, for each challenge the participant registers for.

A team of up to 4 members registering for one challenge will be charged ₹100 per member for that challenge; a team registering for both The Boxing Bots and Micro-Mouse completes a separate registration and payment for each challenge.

The registration fee covers the participant's entry into their zonal round, access to workshops and technical support, and participation in the qualification, semi-final and final rounds at that zone.

The registration fee does not include travel, stay, food, or the cost of building or acquiring a robot, unless separately announced by TANCAM.

4. Standard Kit Pricing Details

Teams that prefer not to build a robot from scratch may purchase an official Standard kit through the Platform:

• Standard Boxing Bot kit – ₹10,000 – supports learning robot assembly, motor control, servo operation, programming, wireless control and mechanical customisation.
• Standard Micro-Mouse kit – ₹5,000 – built to the official Micro-Mouse specifications for teams that prefer a ready-made platform to work from.

Kit purchases are entirely optional. Teams that build their own robot in line with the published technical specifications are not required to pay any kit fee, and only pay the applicable registration fee.

5. Payment Methods

All payments on the Platform are collected securely through our third-party payment gateway, which supports major cards, UPI and net-banking options. TANCAM does not directly collect or store your payment card or banking credentials at any point.

6. No Hidden Charges

The Platform will always display the applicable registration fee and/or kit price before you confirm payment. We do not charge participants any additional or hidden fee beyond what is shown at checkout, other than payment gateway or bank charges that may be levied by your bank or payment provider outside our control.

7. Changes to Pricing

TANCAM may revise registration fees or kit prices between editions of TN-BOTIFY, or before a specific zonal round, to reflect changes in event costs or kit procurement costs. Any such change will be published on the Platform and will apply only to registrations and orders made after the change takes effect; teams that have already completed payment will not be charged any difference.
