The Boxing Bots is a live robotics challenge where teams control purpose-built robots in strategic head-to-head matches. Success depends on stable design, responsive control, disciplined operation, smart movement and effective match strategy.

What Is The Boxing Bots?

Teams prepare a robot for controlled arena competition and compete through qualification, match pairing and final-stage brackets. The challenge is designed to combine mechanical design, electronics, embedded control, programming, testing and team coordination in a high-energy event environment.

Standard Kit or Self-Built Bot

Teams may select the standard Boxing Bot kit or register a self-built bot. All teams must follow the latest published technical specification and rule book. Final rules, permitted mechanisms, safety requirements and inspection conditions will be available in the Resources section.

The final technical specification will be uploaded separately. Participants must read the current approved document before completing their bot build. Self-built teams are responsible for ensuring compliance.

Before the Event

  1. Complete challenge registration and payment through the club dashboard.
  2. Confirm the final team composition of 4 members.
  3. Create the bot profile and select the bot type.
  4. Upload clear bot photographs.
  5. Submit a demonstration video before the event day.
  6. Review the latest rules, technical specifications and zonal instructions.

How the Competition Progresses

During the zonal round, the system will publish qualification batches, arena assignments, match pairings, and semi-final and final brackets. Scores and results will be displayed only after administrator approval.
